Music making with Music Makers – musicianship for youngest musicians!
The Latymer Saturday Music Centre CIC provides popular classes for the youngest musicians, starting from three years old!
The aim of these sessions is to provide opportunities for children to develop musicianship through a variety of musical games and activities including singing, playing classroom percussion instruments and listening.
As the children progress to having formal instrumental tuition, the benefits of having attended the musicianship classes (in terms of ‘sharpening up’ their ears, developing music reading skills and co-ordination) are invaluable.

The classes are offered for children in the following age groups:
10:15-10:55 Music Makers 1 (Reception and Year One)
11:00-11:40 Early Ears (Nursery)
11:45-12:25 Music Makers 2 (Year 2 – compulsory for children in Year 2 studying an instrument with us)
We are starting back on Saturday 12th September.
We also have a limited availability in one to one lessons in piano, recorder/flute, saxophone/clarinet (1 place only), trumpet/trombone (1 place only), guitar (1 place only) and music theory. We also have two subsidised places available for bassoon/mini bassoon.
