That’s it until January

I think we’re all pleased to have a few weeks off – it’s been a very long term, but also very successful.  100% pass rate in our ABRSM exams (including some very good distinctions) as well as two wonderful concerts featuring the Harp Ensemble, the Guitar Ensemble and both String Ensembles.  Many thanks to our staff for providing first-class teaching, our parents for bringing the children each week, and also of course to our fabulous students, of whom we are always exceptionally proud.  Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas, and see you on 6th January.

 


Why does singing feel so good?

Research indicates that singing releases endorphins, sorotonin and dopamine – these are all chemicals that make you feel good!

Surprise for Year 1 Music Makers!

Our Year 1 Music Makers had a special treat on Saturday – the Recorder Ensemble arrived, complete with Santa hats, and gave a little concert, finishing with Silent Night. Everyone loved it!
